MoT Dedicated Drift Day
Silverstone Car Park 49 - A huge smooth tarmac area at the legendary circuit - practice drifting with free tuition plus tyre changing facilities will be available.
Been on a car control day and noticed how much fun the sliding about bit is? Well this is a chance to do that on a huge smooth fast area called Silverstone and really get to grips with big drift entries, powerslides, and transitions. With free tuition all day you'll be able to learn in a matter of hours how to drift like a hero in a safe enviorment.
Cars must be Rear Wheel Drive for this event. You do not need to have a powerful turbo ultra nitrous Tokyo Drift monster car, just a simple MX-5 or RX-8... or whatever you fancy!
Who are Driftworks? Driftworks attended our hugely successful Mallory Park / 1520 Celebration track event and put on a spectacular drift show for the crowds. Staff from Driftworks will be around on the day to offer advice on driving and parts. Driftworks.com is one of the worlds biggest websites on Drifting, plus they sell mail order parts for Mazda's including suspension and wheels.
Tyre changing will be provided once again by the superb Mint Tyres - so you don't need to worry about destroying your own tyres and having no where to new ones on. Please let us know if you would like some 'Drift' tyres (i.e pre-worn cheap tyres), which we can have fitted for around £7 per wheel and should last around half a day.
Half Day Bookings:
We are offering a half day booking option. Please select below which ever you would prefer.
Timings:
Sign on from 8am, breifing at 8:45. All drivers MUST attend this for a full days drifting.
We will break at 12:30 for one hours lunch.
Drifting will re-commence at 1:30 to 5pm.
Rules and Regs:
Cars must not exceed 105dB static at 3/4rpm.
Used tyres MUST be taken away. Please leave the paddock area as you found it.
Bee*R limiters and or anti-lag systems are banned. Systems must be switched off.
Cars must be in mechanically good condition, and loose bodywork must be secured to the vehicle.
Marshall's will not tolerate any speeding off the circuit. There is a site limit of 10mph.
